Business Technology Society
The Business Technology Society is on a mission to make business work better by providing a creating an atmosphere of development and community amongst those that are both business and technology oriented.

Since the combination of business and technology skills are rare in the world of commerce, the unique mind set has to be employed to ensure the proper function of IT types for business development.

This is not about programming, nor web building, nor any other single application of technology.  The BTS is designed to assist in bottom-line thinking in the technology whelm.  Creating an atmosphere that is designed by business processes but utilizes technology to reduce costs as much as possible whether they be productivity or other resources and create new income whether through existing categories or through innovative thinking.

Technology is a tool that has the capacity to do both properly implemented.  From marketing to production technology based tools can provide a level of control and communication that normally fall through the cracks in conventional businesses. 

It is the mission of BTS to create a common ground, a communal atmosphere where like minded business oriented but technology enable people can get together to solve business dilemmas, explore tool options, and encourage the development of business better positioned to take on the global competition as well as local concerns.

BTS is not a singular business or approach but an answer to the growing concern about the quality, type, and quantity of business enable technology professionals.  Most Technical educational based systems do not adequately prepare their students from true deployment in a business environment opting instead to focus only on the technology.  With BTS the focus is on technology IN business, technology for business, technology for a better bottom line.
